Mental overload:
much more than just tiredness
We live in a world that constantly stimulates the brain. Notifications, decisions, responsibilities, continuous information flow — the nervous system constantly takes it all in, never having time to regenerate.
Mental overload isn't just "having a lot to do." It's the state in which the brain exceeds its capacity to process, filter, and recover. The prefrontal cortex — the seat of concentration, decision-making, and emotional regulation — is the first to become exhausted.

This reference clinical review establishes that 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan), a direct precursor of serotonin, crosses the blood-brain barrier and effectively increases cerebral serotonin synthesis. The analyzed studies show significant effects on sleep quality, anxiety reduction, and emotional regulation, with excellent tolerance over 1 to 2-month courses.
